Just see the OOo settings. There is a special setting for the browser.

Nope, there isn't a global setting for this yet.
Using OpenSource software isn't that hard. Switching applications will
always have issues, regardless if OS is involved or not. You will feel
comfortable with OS and your freedom. :-)
