As far as I know GNU Chess runs fine under Winboard.

Judging by the number of Microsoft Windows viruses I get sent apparently
from Cracraft's old GNU email address, a lot of people have GNU Chess 5
installed under Windows who don't know enough about computers to be
safely let lose with one.

But anyone so clueless as not to type the name of the software they want
into a search engine and follow the links, or write a subject line, is
probably clueless enough to fall outside our target user base - I don't
need more Windows viruses they don't run under my GNU based operating
system ;)
