Sad news from
http://www.gnuenterprise.org/tools/common/databases/gadfly.php
"This driver is currently unmaintained and not functional."
Apart from that, it looks like Gadfly itself is not being actively
maintained any more; the latest version on sourceforge is still from
2002.
Comparing that with the activity visible on www.sqlite.org, it seems
like SQLite would be a much better choice.
