from the back of my head I seem to remember that we've discussed before.
Did AppServer ever work for you? If yes, can you tell what made it stop
work?
If no, could you please try the snapshots? It seems to be a Unicode
problem, and we've fixed a few of them since the release.
If you have set a specific locale (i.e. your $LANG isn't empty), you
could also try what happens if you run appserver *and* forms with no
$LANG set.
If all fails, I think it could be best if you tried to join on IRC so we
can try to sort out the problem in real time.
