LilyPond 1.7.28

Dear music enthousiasts,

I am pleased to announce another LilyPond 1.8 release candidate. I've
given the manual another new revision, and fixed bunch of bugs in the
piano pedal code.  This release is also more hardened against
installation errors.  Special thanks to our faithful CVS testers for
pointing us to new ways to mis-install LilyPond :-)


My to-do list for the 1.8 is nearly empty, which means that 1.7.28
will be pretty close to the actual thing.
