Status of OpenLilyLib/ScholarLY ?

I'm in the process of converting a bunch of old scores to lilypond 2.27.2, and I find that some of them depend on Urs Liska's great legacy project OpenLilyLib, specifically the ScholarLY module. (Leaving the old scores unconverted is an unattractive option, because their other dependencies need to be converted for use by other scores, and I'm trying to keep the whole collection in a consistent state.) Some questions arise: 1. Has anyone succeeded in using ScholarLY with 2.27 ? 2. If so, was it necessary to run convert-ly on OpenLilyLib itself? or was deeper Scheme-fu required? 3. If any answer to either part of 2. was "yes", what is the best place to find the results? (since it would be a shame for us to diverge from https://github.com/openlilylib in an uncontrolled manner) 4. Since Urs is so sadly no longer with us, what are your feelings on the long-term availability of OpenLilyLib? Should I invest effort in using it and maintaining my code in future, or should I scale back my ambitions in that direction? -- Graham
