Job server support for Win32 versions

Does anyone know of current or previous efforts to get the job server 
feature working
in Win32 versions of GNU make?  I'm using 3.81 as distributed with 
GNUWin32 and
that version doesn't have support for the job server.  I know the Cygwin 
version of
GNU make supports the job server, but the Cygwin version isn't a good 
fit for out
environment unfortunately.
