If you have any trouble with this, try replacing --build=mingw32 with
--build=i486-pc-mingw32.

About this:

The underlying bug was fixed in GCC 4.8.0, so this workaround can now be
removed.

Reference:
[4.7/4.8 Regression] gcc bootstrap with ada fails on mingw target
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=52123

Another hint: I found it necessary to use "mount /mingw /mingw", so MSYS
would leave alone some strings containing "/mingw" in the command-line
of some build steps.

See:
gcc-4.5.0 problem: compiler cannot find mingwrt headers
https://sourceforge.net/p/mingw/bugs/1408/

Maybe you can check if this is still an issue.

Cesar
