Do you have a better generic solution for this problem ? Let me know if so. Of course it is possible to patch the mingw or perhaps cygwin runtime to archive this target, but this requires (for cygwin much) more time as using such a premain hook. This patch comes to life, because I was tired to recompile every time the mingw runtime and the application if there ar changes in the hook code. Now you have only to recompile the hook file/library and to relink the application.
