octave general 2.1.3 FTBFS against nettle 4 with:

SHA1.cc:88:15: error: too many arguments to function ‘void
nettle_sha1_digest(sha1_ctx*, uint8_t*)’
   88 |    sha1_digest(&ctx, SHA1_DIGEST_SIZE, digest);
