Regarding the comment and formatting changes near line 517: those were not
intended to alter behavior. While integrating the new case '.' branch, I
simplified some comments .I modified some formatting and comments that were
not part of the actual fix, which made the patch larger and harder to review
than it needed to be. I will make the patch to minimize unrelated changes and
preserve the original explanatory comments.
Yes,Surely I'll add more tests to the patch covering wide variety of cases
Regarding the AI — I did use AI tools to help understand parts of the
codebase and navigate the interpreter structure, especially since this is my
first time contributing to a project of this size. However, the implementation
decisions and revisions were reasoned through and iterated manually.Next Time
i will be more mindful . Extremely sorry for this behaviour
Appreciate the time taken to review this and will follow up with a refined
patch and expanded tests.
