Thomas, thanks for the patch. On first try it looks good. I'll do more
in-depth testing over the next few days, as I have a MATLAB project that makes
heavy use of classdef object arrays. My goal is for everything I develop to be
compatible in both MATLAB and GNU Octave.

As far as attribution, whatever you've already done is fine. No need to go
back to make changes for that. The important thing is the fix you've
implemented which, once fully verified, makes Octave classes so much more
useful. Thanks again for your efforts.
