Follow-up Comment #21, bug #68121 (group octave):
the file looks like a couple appended patches? there should be a single patch,
with a single commit header and message at the top. this patch also isn't
touching all of the files that it says it is.
please don't submit patche files until after you have verified that they
produce all of the intended changes against a clean working tree.
also - this is why you never put 'final' on a patch submission ;)
