[bug #68268] Matlab -nocompression flag missing for "save -v7"

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #68268 (group octave):

The only difference between `-v6` and `-v7 -nocompression` for MATLAB is that
the latter supports saving Unicode characters while the former apparently does
not.
Because Octave saves character arrays as UTF-8 in any case, files saved with
either of these options would be identical. So, we could either not bother at
all or make `-v7 -nocompression` a synonym for `-v6`.
