I am also dealing with this error. I have a smooth meshgrid and want to find a
contour along it. Certain heights (e.g. 535 or 535) will return a continuous
contour from vn=[height, height]. Others (e.g. 530, 534, 535, 536, 540, 550,
and 569) all return many short segments - up to 45. Inspecting the meshgrid
with imagesc, it is smooth and continuous. There are NaNs outside the
boundaries of the area I'm concerned with.
