I incorporated it] into the Debian package octave-dicom and it is now building
correctly on an i386 system.
However, I wonder if this is not a bug in Octave. Shouldn't the
-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 option be automatically activated for mkoctfile when
running on i386?
