glibc upgrade (2.3.3 - 2.3.4) breaks radauth/radtest

After upgrading from glibc 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 and recompiling radius, when
running radauth <user> <pass>, it goes to a "radtest>" prompt instead
of returning a result.  A downgrade to 2.3.3 and recompile fixes it
again.  Maybe this is related to glibc's MALLOC_CHECK_ which seems to
be causing some more other "problems" lately.
