Perhaps this is a misdiagnostic due to OBOE in branch number
tracking.  I see there is no 1.16.0.*, yet in the header,
symbolic name =E2=80=98networkedPlayers=E2=80=99 has value =E2=80=981.16.0.=
2=E2=80=99.

OTOH, deleting that symbolic name and manually renumbering (via
s/1.16.2./1.16.0./g) does not help.

Hmmm.  Time to break out the debugger.
