GNU Source-highlight 1.6

GNU Source-highlight 1.6 has been released.  It is available from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/source-highlight/ and mirrors of that site (see
list of mirror sites at http://www.gnu.org/order/ftp.html).

GNU Source-highlight, given a source file, produces a document with
syntax highlighting.

At the moment this package can handle

      Java
      C/C++
      Prolog
      Perl
      Php3
      Python
      Flex       new
      ChangeLog  new

as source languages, and

      HTML
      XHTML

as output format.

Version 1.6

    * scanners for flex and ChangeLog added by John Millaway 
<[email protected]>
    * default to stdout when no --output is given along with the -i option
      and when --output="STDOUT" (as suggested by Hugh S. Myers,
      <[email protected]>)
    * fixed a problem with string comments in Python scanner
    * a separate executable is built, source-highlight-cgi, that can be
      used as a CGI program

where you can find detailed descriptions of how to access the CVS
(read-only).  I plan to make release-candidate versions available
through CVS.
