Folks some late breaking news,
This week, the Chromium project was awarded a 2004 R&D 100
award by R&D magazine (http://www.rdmag.com). This prestigious
award is given annually to the "100 Most Technologically
Significant New Products & Processes of the Year". For those
unfamiliar with the award, I would reference:
http://www.rdmag.com/rd100/100win.asp The award was made jointly
to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Stanford University,
the University of Virginia and Tungsten Graphics. I expect
there will be additional articles concerning the award forthcoming
from R&D magazine as well as other sources, stay tuned.
I personally offer congratulations and thanks to the entire
Chromium community for their efforts in making Chromium such a
successful project. For those interested, the overview document
and supporting materials Alan just added to the docs were part of
the successful submission.

Thanks.
