top with glxgears shows CPU at 99% (not too surprising). top with quake 
3 shows CPU steadily around 30-40%. My card is an ATI X600, not the 
fastest, not the slowest.

I was thinking about the simplest configuration: pack SPU on one side, 
render SPU on the other side. Potentially feedback and array SPUs on the 
client side, depending on the applications need. Regarding to my 
previous post on dlm, is expando a potentially useful SPU, or is there 
for the sake of debugging?
