The VNC SPU might be useful for a simple GL app.

The VNC SPU is actually part of a larger project I'm working on to 
deliver OpenGL rendering to VNC viewers.

Over the coming weeks I'll try to get the code/docs onto SourceForge 
so others can start using it.  I'm pretty busy just fixing bugs right 
now.  I'll post when there's something available.
