I agree, I have checked out and compiled V2.0 and walktut ran without a
problem.
I have got bttest to run in my branch by commenting out
//iCelMapFile* entitiesfile = region->CreateMapFile ();
//entitiesfile->SetPath ("/cellib/lev");
//entitiesfile->SetFile ("walktut_entities");
in LoadLevel(...), though I am yet to see if this has implications for the
full use of the app (i.e. the behaviour tree does not seem to be working at
the moment, I obviously need to look into this further as part of my
project.)
So the error appears to be in loading walktut_entities.
Looking through the revisions in trunk that have not been merged into v2.0,
I think that one of these may be the cause (4508, 4584,4768,4774). In
particular 4774 introduced a printf before and after tloader->LoadMapFileWait
which is where the program hangs when trying to load walktut_entities. I am
not sure why these printf's were added, but perhaps Jorrit can clarify?
This may be of help with finding the problem.
It seems I should now be able to continue with the behaviour tree coding
regardless, but I would like to help solve this if it is a general problem
in trunk. Should I raise it as a ticket on trac? I am unsure how bug
reporting is handled in CrystalSpace/CEL.
