Very excited about this.

Presumably work on things that, although they are necessary for the Android
port, they are not unique to Android, like the OpenGLES renderer, can take
place outside the Android branch? Either in trunk or another branch? Of
course I am thinking about my dream of a Google Native Client port, which
would need to use OpenGLES.
