The apps may work, but a product so old and past End Of Life should really not 
be used when newer versions exist and are easily accessible.

With the release of VS 12 we will have three versions of VS supported that 
date back well over 4 years that support XP and above. We have no need real 
need to have VS 8 project files any longer.
