Apparently, the script does not take into account app wrappers on OSX.
I don't think this has anything to do with variables (by which I
presume that you mean environment variables).

Judging by the Jamfile for this plugin, you probably don't have the
ogg/vorbis prerequisites for this module installed on your machine,
thus the plugin did not get built. After installing the
prerequisite(s), re-configure CS and rebuild.

Were there errors while building this plugin in CEL? There aren't any
prerequisites for it in the Jamfile which would have omitted it from
the build, so one might guess that compilation failed or some other
problem occurred.

The rest of this appears to be fallout from missing 'stdphyslayer' plugin.
