crystal space is community based so don't consider the main mentor your
only mentor.

2) Probably no but i'll leave it to more expert people

3) usually dropping just the file is enough if you aren't creating new
folders, in that case you need to replicate the relative jam files properly.

Then to regenerate the msvc projects you'll need to run jobber (check the
tools folders you'll need also to redirect it to your repository) on a
system with configure(mingw, cygwin or a linux system. i'd suggest the last
from a vm as it's easiest)
