Yes, that's the global idea.

However, since the current plugin implementing this interface has
several problems, then it will probably be removed once your new plugin
will be up and running.

Therefore, you have some freedom over the current API of iMovieRecorder,
maintaining backward compatibility is interesting, but you can feel free
eg to add new methods in this interface if you need to. The interface
should also be moved in the CS::Media namespace and can also be renamed
eg CS::Media::iMediaRecorder in order to align its name to the other
interfaces in this namespace.
