A few questions about getting started

Hello everyone,

My name is Benjamin, and I am the student that is responsible for the
planet simulation. Today I will be cleaning up my computer and going over
the Crystal Space terrain generation and rendering procedures.

My questions as of right now are:

- Who is my mentor?
- I have been thinking about the LOD problems (mainly the stretching that
occurs when you approach the poles),  when I initially applied and I was
curious if perhaps a geodesic design would be preferable over the polar
coordinate system?

I have noticed that some of the e-mail addresses of the mentors are
European, so I will check my e-mail often during the day as to overcome the
time difference.
