Hi, Greg Not all maker notes can be copied between different file formats. Especially Canon uses pointers (absolute file positions) in their maker notes, which are invalid once you copy them to another file. If IMatch would copy these maker notes, other software, including IMatch, would crash trying to read the data at which the invalid maker notes point. It depends on the source file format and the target file format if it will work. -- Mario -----Original Message----- From: greg_carlill [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Mittwoch, 26. Hi, When I copy attributes some, but not all of the Canon maker notes in the EXIF are not coping from one image to the other. Is the a bug? They copy ok in the Properties. can Focal Lenght Is the one that I'm most concerned about as my Quick EXIF, SlideShow & Web Script all use the following:- {Image.EXIF.can Focal Length} at {Image.EXIF.Focal length} {Image.EXIF.F Number} {Image.EXIF.Shutter speed value} {Image.EXIF.ISO speed ratings} Although can Image Type can Owner Name are also no coping. This is based on a quick scan down the list, there could be others I missed. Using 3.4.0.26 - I know it's not the most recent but the 13M download @ 56k 8( Yahoo! Groups Links Yahoo!
