Re: do searching in IM work for anyone?

James, hi,
I made now some short tests:

IMatch-Version: .30
Win98
Images total: 8644 (my test-database, not the real one)

I entered int 2 images this line into the property-fields:

Animals.Dog.Pet, Location.Brazil.Donnie

In one image I puttet the line into the prop-field "Title", in the
other in the field "Description".

Then I did this:

1) "Search" - "For Text in properties".
2) A box appears
3) I enter in the white line this
Pet Donnie

while I leave the first checkbox enabled (Search in all suitable image
properties)

4) IMPORTANT: I check the checkbox "Use regular expressions"
5) I hit OK
6) After maybe 2 seconds I have results: 2 images 

Fazit: IMatch worked perfect!

I know, that in the search engine user (including me) reported some
strange things. But just NOW the search worked perfect.

Maybe you could try this one again? It takes you not a long time.
