Mario,

I have uploaded a file named "img_0016 exif file source problem.jpg"
to the "problem files" section of this site. Imatch reports the exif
file source of this file to be "unknown". The images are coming from
a canon A75 digital camera, reporting an exif version of 2.2 in all
of its files. I typically use a freeware program called "Siren" to
batch rename my image files. It can read and display the exif file
source of "DSC" (digital storager camera) from these files. I had
tried a few other renaming and exif viewers, and most of these
displayed the "DSC" value from the File Source field.

I have written some automated batchscripts to automatically transfer
and rename images from my compactflash card before bringing them into
Imatch. I saw Imatch also has batch renaming capability, so I was
trying to incorporate the rename into Imatch. I happen to use the
file source field in my naming scheme, and bumped into this problem.
