It would be good if the next version could also be sensitive to the 
fact that autogen.sh uses "libtool" by default, which is named 
"glibtool" on Mac OS X/Darwin. It's an easy fix for a porting system, 
but maybe this could be included as well.

Yes. We want to have all the high-res movies play on the web and the 
only alternative would be Flash (GIF files would be far too big and 
unhandy for our Arcade greyscale movies). If Mozilla would regain MNG 
support we would have at least a cross-platform solution to point to.

The QuickTime Codec project for libmng 
(http://qtcomponents.sourceforge.net/) is currently deserted as there 
was not much interest. I am looking for somebody to take up the effort 
and continue to provide a QT MNG codec with the current libmng sources. 
This would be a quick fix for all other browsers on Mac OS X and 
Windows.

I volunteer for a nice Blinkenlights MNG showroom page when our code 
works with libmng. Hope this drives some people into adoption of the 
format ;)
