It would be good if the next version could also be sensitive to the fact that autogen.sh uses "libtool" by default, which is named "glibtool" on Mac OS X/Darwin. It's an easy fix for a porting system, but maybe this could be included as well. > And good to know that blinkenlights will use MNG :-) Yes. We want to have all the high-res movies play on the web and the only alternative would be Flash (GIF files would be far too big and unhandy for our Arcade greyscale movies). If Mozilla would regain MNG support we would have at least a cross-platform solution to point to. The QuickTime Codec project for libmng (http://qtcomponents.sourceforge.net/) is currently deserted as there was not much interest. I am looking for somebody to take up the effort and continue to provide a QT MNG codec with the current libmng sources. This would be a quick fix for all other browsers on Mac OS X and Windows. I volunteer for a nice Blinkenlights MNG showroom page when our code works with libmng. Hope this drives some people into adoption of the format ;) Greetings Tim ------ Tim Pritlove, Discordian Evangelist, Chaos Computer Club <mailto:[email protected]> <http://tim.geekheim.de/> <aim:timpritlove> Project Blinkenlights <http://www.blinkenlights.de/> ------ The Fifth Commandment: A Discordian is Prohibited of Believing What he reads. -- Send the message body "help" to [email protected]
