png_get_iCCP() returns 0 for embedded Adobe RGB profile

Hi! I have a 32-bit RGBA PNG image with an embedded Adobe RGB profile. It was saved in Photoshop. I'm trying to extract the profile with libpng-1.6.34 on Ubuntu 18.04. However, png_get_iCCP() returns 0 w/o any warnings or errors. I'm able to decode and display the file with libpng w/o any issues. The only issue is that png_get_iCCP() returns 0. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
