Instead of fixing (or explaining) the apparent contradiction
between  the documentation and the Git repository, you start
talking about migration to `cmake', as if it  makes  current
autotools-related errors unworthy of attention.

By  the  way,  libpng supports the DOS operation system. Are
`autotools' and `cmake' avaible there?
