What code are you talking about? For encoding software current zXIf proposal have 'uncompressed' compression method. For decoding software zlib decompression should be present even if software process only metadata: ICC Profile is compressed within iCCP chunk. And I think that software that handle EXIF and doesn't handle ICC profile should not exist ever: this could lead to errors like 'endless gamma apply' I wrote before. Using already included zlib code is only several lines of code, not 1000. 01.02.2017 5:42, Willem van Schaik пишет: > But adding 1000 lines of code to a piece of existing software is a "real > cost" to a company, that they try to avoid at all means. > > So, reducing code and making software agile is nowadays the most > important issue in software development. > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ png-mng-misc mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/png-mng-misc
