Hi,

I'm looking to add a new Epson scanner and have a few questions:

What are the LUTs in the epsonds backend? What do they do? How does one 
go about finding which LUT is the preferred one while adding a new device?

Also, it seems Epson ESC/I2 is an Epson (proprietary?) protocol. Are 
there any references for this?
