Good day,

My usb flatbed scanner CanoScan Lide60 uses the genesys firmware:
genesys:libusb:002:008
idVendor=04a9, idProduct=221c, bcdDevice= 3.06

The issue is that the scanner frequently jams, and produces vertical stripes when scanning.

I would like to solve this issue.
I have advanced knowledge of Linux, have some experience in C programming.
I would like to have the source code of the firmware and some basic guide on SANE architecture.
Also the scanimage --calibrate does not work.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Kind regards,
David
