My 2cents,

Despite what Nestor says, a flag is part of each country history and thus of
their past and culture: some may be offended by what it repressented at one
time, but they're just symbols without own meaning apart of deisgning a
country or territory or state; it's us the one that gave it the bad meanings.
I don't like the old spanish flag, nor the nazi one, but they're part of my
culture as european, It of reminds me how easily is to fall into the abyss of
intolerance, greed of power but in no way I've to feel offended as it's part
of our past and we can't erase it: better to keep them around to remind us.
I don't think why sodipodi can't have such collection of flags, or any other
artwork that's used around.
