Hello!

Sorry, as I have 2.2 installed, it is really hard to track
all these incompatibilities.
Currently we only check for:

AC_CHECK_FUNCS(gtk_window_set_default_icon_from_file)

That IMHO is added in 2.2. But there should be similar
checks, and #ifdefs in code for all 2.2-specific
features.
So please be so nice, and report, if you find more problem
(preferrably bug tracker entry)
