I was trying to use sodipodi remotely over SSH to export a png from an svg file, like so: sodipodi -z -f /home/edwards/projects/kelcey/kelcey4.svg -e kelcey4.png -w 720 -h 480 But I keep getting the following error: Gdk-WARNING **: cannot open display: (null) Can I use sodipodi without having an X server running? Or does -z just not bring up the gui, even though it still requires a display to exist? -Mike --------------------------------------------------------- No army can withstand the strength of an idea whose time has come. -Victor Hugo http://www.antholog.com ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
