So does 0.34 for me. The windows don't hide behind the document window like they used to. I have informed the evo that he should update to 0.34 for Debian unstable. > see it as a fact that you have some competition now. another thing. i > dont know what the sodipodi main toolbar is about, its just a hassle to > go there and select the tool i need. i dont know why but its just my > impression. I agree, it takes more thinking than it should for the main toolbar, but the same applies to Gimp for me. It's what Sodipodi interface wants to be comparable to. > and btw. sodipodi may be a cool name, but let me ask you all one thing - > if you say sodipodi to someone, what will the person think - will the > person associate a vector editing tool with it? i guess no. so much to > the reason why inkscape got so much attention. This I disagree with completely. Gtk/C works fine for any size project. Gtk is designed to work around the classic limitations of C in terms of objects. Huge things like Evolution are in C. It works fine. > so i either would like to see a merge of the two projects. inkscape is a > much better name for users, and they seem to care about menu > organization, how the property windows behave and other stuff. it's just > my two cents but personally i like the inkscape approach much better. So did the developers, which is why the fork happened. Now it's a bit of a mess that only time can resolve. --Pat ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
