So does 0.34 for me. The windows don't hide behind the document window 
like they used to.

I have informed the evo that he should update to 0.34 for Debian unstable.

I agree, it takes more thinking than it should for the main toolbar, but 
the same applies to Gimp for me. It's what Sodipodi interface wants to 
be comparable to.

Yeah, I told it to a German buddy and he thought it was a porn movie. I 
said: "ummm, no." :)

This I disagree with completely. Gtk/C works fine for any size project. 
Gtk is designed to work around the classic limitations of C in terms of 
objects. Huge things like Evolution are in C. It works fine.

So did the developers, which is why the fork happened. Now it's a bit of 
a mess that only time can resolve.
