I completely fail to see this point. Let's look at some of the programs
in the Gnome family:

- Gnome Ghostview (Postscript viewer)
- Gimp (raster graphics)
- Eye of Gnome (graphics viewer)
- Epiphany (web browser)
- Totem (multimedia player)
- Gnumeric (spreadsheet)
- Nautilus (file manager)
- yelp (help browser)
- Anjuta (development environment)

I need not go on.

Names like Gimp, eog, Totem, and Anjuta are just as arbitrary as Sodipodi.
