Sounds like a broken font mishandled by fontconfig. Vague :( Try locating  
the BigNoiseMusic font file and temporarily removing it. In case you don't  
know this, fontconfig searches for fonts in directories specified in the  
/etc/fonts/fonts.conf file. Look for <dir> entries.

fontconfig list or whatever medium they use would be a better place to ask  
this probably.
