hi!

sodipodi is a great tool for generating vector-based graphics. however - the biggest problem at the moment is the poor import/export capabilities of sodipodi. creating svg is very nice - but in a every-day workflow svg is not yet very handy.

ok, print-output via ghostscript into eps is fine (and generating pdf's via ps2pdf also) - but how do i get my eps- or pdf logo into sodipodi without recreating it? searched the internet for any eps2svg / pdf2svg-converters and found only few - commercial - ones.

so i think it'd make sodipodi an even better tool if import/export will be improved.

* export tp eps/ps/pdf: own dialog, not via "print-to-file-dialog"
* export to *.ai/*.fh would be nice
* import: eps/ps/pdf is very important

however - thank you guys for your great work!

falk
