sodipodi crash

Hello,
I'm new to the list, my name's Guillaume, from France.
I know this question has already been address but the answers I found on 
the sourceforge archive are too hard to understand for me (I'm not a 
computer engineer).
Could someone tell me in simple words how to solve the export problem 
with sodipodi, that is, the fact that sodipodi crashes each time I try 
to export a document? I know it has to do with zlib.dll but I don't 
quite understand what I have to do, when, etc. I tried copying zlib.dll 
into the bin folder of my gtk but it didn't work.

Oh, and I use Windows XP, as well as the Gimp.
I'm frustrated because I think sodipodi's brilliant!
