Want to join the development team

Hello list!

I don't know if this is the right place to start, but I couldn't find very
much information on the project's webpage.

I've "used" and studied the y-window system for quite a while now and like
the project very much. I would like to join and support the further
development (especially widget development).

May I introduce myself:

Name: Sebastian Tschiatschek
Age: 20
Occupation: Programmer (in a little software company, mostly C and PHP),
Student of IT- and IT-Marketing
Living place: Graz/Styria, Austria (not Australia!)

How do I get assigned to a task? Or do I have to just "take" a task? Could
someone please help me out of the tunnel?
