When I try to sync, I have a hard time gettingjpilot to 'catch'. I start the sync & eventually the clie times out & jpilot waits for a connection; jpilot doesn't seem to see the clie. It doesn't seem to matter which one I start 1st or if I do a sync or backup. usbview sees the clie. Then, sometimes it does 'catch' and I have no problem syncing or doing a backup. What could be the issues? btw - Mandrake 9.2 with ximian jpilot -v: J-Pilot version 0.99.6 Copyright (C) 1999-2002 by Judd Montgomery [email protected], http://jpilot.org J-Pilot comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY; for details see the file COPYING included with the source code, or in /usr/docs/jpilot/.
