so i followed all the steps on the kreucher.net page for syncing with a clie, and i'm missing one stupid step i cant remember. i'm running gentoo linux, 2.6.0-test4 kernel. using evolution 1.4.3 with a sony clie nx60. i can get it to sync and log into it using dlpsh but...i cant for the life of me get it to do the initial sync with evolution. i've tried the killing gpilotd daemon, and restarting it, etc and it just wont work. it seems everytime i try and nail down which /dev/usb/tts/# entry, it changes on the last sync. i've had it up to 6 and 7 and i cant get it syncing. snippet from /var/log/messages...
