I do 99% of my gpe-calendar and related libraries development on my
Debian GNU/Linux machine, i.e. not using the native environment at
all.  The only thing that I've found really needs testing on the
actual device is: UI and response time (e.g. due to the slower CPU
some algorithms need to be optimized differently).
